We have accomplished a great deal in our first year as an incorporated non-profit! Thank you all for helping us to grow our local pickleball community. We see so many of you explaining the sport to passers by, helping beginners, and spreading the love of the sport.
We have also assisted the professionals at Culpeper County Fieldhouse with Unified Pickleball, and brought pickleball to summertime youth camps. We have grown our roster to 170 affiliates, held a variety of tournaments, leagues, drills, skills clinics, round robins, DUPR play nights, and countless open play sessions. We even brought pickleball, via a seminar, to The Culpeper, where they continue to play on the court we marked out for them.
We have a growing number of CPC affiliates joining us at outside tournaments and we hope to see more of you testing yourselves and your skills in this way in 2024. To top it all off you donated canned goods, in lieu of tournament fees, resulting in more than SIX CASES of canned goods going to the Food Closet in Culpeper.
You graciously contributed your input and insights to our survey and provided a great deal of ideas on how we can be even better in the future. We have gone over the survey data and other information received from you and put it all to work planning an even more exciting and fun filled 2024. We want to thank you for your dedication and contributions to your club, CPC. We couldn’t do it without you! We are looking forward to seeing you all on the courts in 2024.
